9/28- one day every month 3 students from our class join all of the kindergarten classes to do a big activity. This months unit was apples. So everything they did involved apples. We could only stay there for about 25 minutes because they had art class. For the time we were there we read a book about Johnny Appleseed and then made a hat out of the alphabet. The we went to art class, while we were there we finished our leaf projects. And then started to paint a peice of paper for next weeks project.

9/27- we only had 3 students today so I went over to mrs burkes room and observed them. When I came back to our room we played with toys the rest of the time

9/26
9/26- Mrs.Royer and I worked with Tyler in the beginning. We went over math problems. He has this strategy and it’s called “touch points” so you will write a math problem, like 3+2 and whatever the value of the number will have that many touch points on the number so they count the dots on the number. When Tyler went out to recess so I tried to work with Abigail and Mrs Webb. Abby had a breakdown today and started to cry and scream and wouldn’t work or stop. So we had to put her into time out for the rest of the time. She still wasn’t cooperating when I left.
9/25
9/25- worked with Tyler and learned how to practice site words with him. We also worked on knowing the bills and coins. He is a very quick learner. He also loves to work for bubbles. Tyler then had to go out for recess. Then I worked with Tyler alone with reading his books. He’s a very fluent reader.

9/24
9/24- while other students were in quiet time I worked with autumn cutting out strips of paper. She gets bored doing that so I let her draw some pictures on the strips that she was cutting out. And then I would also draw pictures. She wanted to work for pictures of me at homecoming so whenever she finished two strips, I would show her a picture. I worked with Daniel at IEP work. We were working on the site word “the” he picked it up very quickly. He would say it, point it out in a field of 3 other words. He worked for blocks.

9/21
Worked in stations. Worked with Daniel. We were learning his lunch number. So he had to type it into a calculator. I had to read and point to the numbers for him to understand. Then we did a craft we made a train. And then miss burkes class came over for some line dancing.
9/19
9/19- 2 students were absent today so we had more teachers than students. Tyler and Lokata had speech class at 2:30 so I went with them to sit in on their lesson. The teacher would give each student something to work on. If they did a good job, they got a turn to play at the game. When we came back I worked with Bella on her IEP work. We went over shapes numbers and recognizing her name.
9/18
9/18- quiet time(worked with Tyler on spelling. He has a magnetic board with letters on it. He has 3 letter words. You put the first and last letter on the board and Tyler has to figure out with vowel makes the word complete.) IEP work time (worked with Daniel, practiced rote counting to 15, he has trouble pronouncing 13,14,15. He slures them all together. We also practiced shapes. I would draw 3 different shapes on the white board and he would point to the shape I say)
9/17
9/17- work time (worked with Autumn, we worked on cutting on a line. She got bored very quickly so I drew pictures on the cards and had her cut out the card and keep the picture I drew). IEP work time (worked with Tyler, we started to work on his site words but he has recess at 2:10 everyday so he had to go out for recess)

Monday- Quiet time, IEP work time (Tyler, read passages) craft (bingo dotter)
Tuesday-Absent
Wednesday- IEP work time (Isabella, focused on shapes, numbers, recognition of her name) art class (made their initial in oil pastel, painted over letter) recess, snack time, pack up, dismissal
Thursday- IEP work time(Isabella, shapes: triangle,square,circle, recognition of name,) Craft(painted bunny,leaf, cloud, heart) Recess
Friday- IEP work time ( working with Mrs.royer and gage. Gage does not speak, therefore he points to pictures when he wants something. He also uses some sign language) craft( painted grapes, black cat. Worked with Bella again. She wants to be independent but still needs some help. Example: when painting , I hold the card for her, and she paints. But she pushes my hand away and says “ Bella do” but she needs help. )
Recess ( needed five stars in order to play at recess and everyone had all stars)
